The Romanian mountains have over 1200 tourist trails, with a total length of about 16.000 km, and we are
permanently preoccupied by maintaining them, rebuilding the markings, the pillars, and the indicating panels, as
well as maintaining their safety elements.
The national legislation establishes who is performing all these works, the mountain rescuers playing the

Salvamont structures organize or participate, together

repair activities, thousands of kilometers being
